Poul Hans Lange is a Danish illustrator and photographer who has lived in New York City since 1989. The cover illustration for this issue is from his series “Year of the Lexicon,” a personal project exploring and illustrating entries from the dictionary. His first children’s book, Hullebogen (Gyldendal), was published in Denmark this year.
